Butte United Alumni Accomplishments!

 

Ever wonder what happens after players leave Butte United? Here we give special recognition to players' achievements in the junior college soccer community. All played with Butte United teams during their early soccer careers.

 

• Brittany Sheffield has accepted an offer to play Division 1A soccer for Oregon State University
• Kristen Grant was "honorable mention" Junior College All-American (NSCAA); this year she was captain of the Lyon College team (NAIA). Check out the website (page 7).  

• Jessica Winslow was "second team" Junior College All-American (NSCAA)  

• Emily Barrett was "first team" Junior College All-American (NSCAA). Check out the website.  Emily’s list of accomplishments continue.  In 2007 she was named to the All Tournament Team at the Embassy Suites Kick-Off Classic held in Ft. Myers , Fla (9/06/07).  Emily is the starting goal keeper for the Division 1 Florida Gulf Coast University.  In addition, she was just named defensive player of the week in the Atlantic Sun Conference (9/10/07).   Emily is a former BU player, CHS graduate, and Yuba College graduate.

• Melisa Grant was the MVP of Lassen Junior College team in 2005 and selected to All Golden Valley Conference team in 2005
