Butte United is run by volunteers who participate on various committees to make it all happen.  The Club relies on our parents and the community to contribute special talents and their time and energy to get everything done. We need all of our families to participate.  Please let your head coach or any Board member know how you’d like to make a difference for Butte United!

Here’s a list of our committees 

Field Acquisition and Development (FAD):
Chairperson: Rob Robbins
Time Frame:  year round, meetings every 4-6 weeks or as needed
Objectives:  Ensure adequate playing fields; coordinate usage and maintenance with ChicoCal; plan for long-term field space

Tryout Committee:
Chairperson: Rob Robbins
Time Frame:  January – May; meet several times early in the year to plan tryouts then coordinate attendance at tryouts
Objectives: Set tryout dates, venue, communication, evaluation, and staffing.

Budget Committee:
Chairperson: Beth Romig
Time Frame:  Meet several times October-December to plan budget for following year
Objective:  Create annual budget to be voted on and approved by Board of Directors

Bylaws Committee:
Chairperson:  Beth Romig
Time Frame:  Meet several times throughout the year, as needed
Objective:  Review bylaws annually and make changes as necessary to be voted on and approved by Board of Directors

Uniform Committee:
Chair:  Sonja Endemano (Ridentough2000@yahoo.com)
Time Frame:  End of season/January –April; meet as needed
Objectives:  Select uniform and plan rollout to teams; get sizing for players at registration meetings

Scholarship Committee:

Time Frame:  Meet as needed in April – May
Objective:  Review applications for financial assistance

Fundraiser Committee:
Not yet formed.  Expected time frame:  July – November, as needed
Objective:  Plan for Club fund raising events
